Professionally known as Queen Aquilla, she’s a singer and songwriter, she is regarded as one of the most influential female musicians in the Niger Delta.
Queen Aquilla has worked with various artists in composing and collaborating for over 16years in the industry. Queen Aquilla has built a name and maintained to attract more people with her sound.
EARLY LIFE
Queen Aquilla Born in the year 1991 in Navy Town, Lagos.
She was raised and lived in Yenagoa, the Capital City of Bayelsa State. She’s the 1st child of Amatari Urowu and Ganiere Dirikebamor.
Queen Aquilla‘s musical journey began in her childhood home, where her mother taught her how to sing and shared a keen taste for different genres of music, such as reggae, RnB, Hip-hop, High life, Awigiri and so on…which are the foundation for innovative contribution to modern sound.
MUSIC LIFE
Queen Aquilla started singing in 2009, her style of music can be categorized as Afro-reggae and Dancehall.
Growing up she was heavily influenced by Bob Marley, Beyonce, Erykah Badu, Fela Kuti, King Robert Ebizemor, Tiwa Savage and Wizkid.
She’s currently working on her first body of work (EP- REPORT CARD)which houses of a 3 tracks.
