Superstar singer/songwriter and afrobeat/afro-dancehall sensation, Godson Epelle, popularly known as 1da Banton is buzzing the music airwaves with a contagious gas of excitement and enthusiasm from the release of his latest brand new song that he titles “WON DA” featuring alternate afro fusion/afro fuji and fans favourite music act Seyi Vibez to deliver a globally potential banger.
The Port Harcourt born and bred artiste, ever since breaking out into the mainstream in the industry with his hit single, NO WAHALA in 2020, and also getting to feature two music giants in the continent, Tiwa Savage and Kizz Daniel in a remix version, in 2022 and kept on his progression with dropping more notable singles and projects, such as, 1DA SHALL NEVER END extended playlist in 2021 and ORIGINAL VIBE MACHINE album in 2024, showcasing hit singles like WADDUP, CALL ME and HOLY MAN.
He exhibits his signatory style of making bouncy vibes on this new sound, as the song blends with afrobeat and amapiano rhythm that creates an afropiano melody, as he serves his afro-dancehall hall flows calmly with persition and intention, and Seyi giving his precise, soft tempoed, street emotional vocal cadence with confidence and firmness.
