Nigerian afrobeat and afropop superstar singer, songwriter and record producer, Kelechi Okechukwu, popularly known as Tekno, has just conceived and delivered a bouncing new song into the music scene, with the release of “MATTER”, fresh out and off from his intended and pending music project “WHERE DID LOVE GO” album, set to drop on the 19th of June 2026, as it will mark as his third official studio album.
The Ebonyi state born and “DANCE” crooner portrays this new song, as an evidence and testimony of how interesting and catchy his forthcoming music project would be, with a statement of confidence and a message to convey that he can still produce merry love hits like the previous ones from the past, such as “WASH”, “DIANA”, “PANA”, and “DURO”, that gave him massive acclamation and recognition in the industry, because of the style and pattern he used in creating his records as a singer and sound engineer, engineering his own music to his preference and taste.
The song is characterised with a smooth tempo and soothing afropop/afrobeat feeling, accompanied by a triggering bounce that is subtle and baselines that reflects warness to the added romantic insertion and chants that are repeated as background sounds, as the song displays the singer speaking of how he can stay concealer with his lover together in romance and loyalty to each other, while basking in their own realm.
